Airline Booking Terms - Zoozle
Zoozle facilitates the booking of airline tickets through its platform, offering users access to flights operated by various carriers. All bookings are subject to the respective airline’s terms and policies, including their rules on cancellations, refunds, and schedule changes.
1. Booking Role & Airline Responsibilities
Zoozle functions solely as an intermediary, helping users make flight reservations. The travel contract is directly between the user and the selected airline. Zoozle does not operate any flights and therefore holds no influence over airline operations, schedules, or services.
Airlines reserve the right to modify flight schedules, routes, or cancel services without prior notice to Zoozle. Any such changes are outside Zoozle’s control, and we are not responsible for any financial or incidental loss a user may incur as a result.
2. Fare Conditions & Baggage Policy
Each fare comes with specific rules defined by the airline. These may include restrictions on cancellations, changes, or the services included in the ticket. Even on the same airline, different fares may offer varied entitlements.
Zoozle does not determine baggage allowances. Some flight options may be classified as "hand baggage only" fares, which do not include free check-in luggage. In such cases, users must pay separately to add checked baggage. Charges vary by airline, and passengers should contact the carrier for detailed baggage pricing.
3. Code-Share Flights
Certain flights displayed on the Zoozle platform may be operated under a "code-share" agreement. In such arrangements, one airline sells the ticket, while another airline operates the flight. These flights will be clearly marked with the operating airline during the booking process.
Zoozle will disclose any code-share information as provided by the ticketing airline. We depend on the airline for these disclosures and cannot guarantee advance notice if the airline does not provide it.
4. Flight Segment Usage
If a user misses or skips the first leg of their journey, the entire booking (PNR) may be canceled automatically by the airline. Zoozle is not responsible for such cancellations and is not liable to arrange alternative travel. Any penalties or losses resulting from this will be in accordance with the airline’s policies.
5. Modifications to Bookings
Changes to confirmed bookings are governed by the airline’s policies. Any modification may attract charges imposed by the airline, along with a Zoozle service fee. The final fee depends on the fare category and the airline's rules.
Users are responsible for any applicable charges if they choose to alter or update their travel itinerary.
6. Pricing & Payment
The total amount shown on the payment page typically includes base fare, taxes, and applicable service charges. Zoozle requires full payment at the time of booking. Bookings without complete payment may be canceled at Zoozle’s discretion.
Zoozle also complies with all applicable tax laws, and users are required to pay any statutory taxes, surcharges, or fees valid on the travel date.
For infant fares, the child must remain under 24 months of age for the entire journey (including return flights). If the child turns two during the trip, a separate booking must be made using a child fare. Infants or minors must be accompanied by an adult, as required by the airline.
7. Check-in Guidelines
Check-in timings may vary between airlines. Generally, domestic flights require passengers to report at least 2 hours before departure, while international flights recommend a 3-hour check-in window.
Passengers must carry valid identification documents such as government ID, passport, and relevant age proofs for all travelers, including minors.
8. Travel Documentation
It is solely the user’s responsibility to carry all required travel documents including passport, visa (and transit visa if needed), and identity proof. Failure to present valid documentation may result in denied boarding, and Zoozle shall not be held liable.
Any information provided by Zoozle about travel documents is purely suggestive and should not be treated as final. Users are advised to consult directly with the airline or immigration authorities regarding document requirements.
9. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Refunds are governed strictly by the airline’s fare rules and cancellation terms. Zoozle can only initiate a refund once it has been received from the airline. Please note that the convenience fee charged at the time of booking is non-refundable.
If a user cancels their booking directly with the airline, they must notify Zoozle to initiate the refund process. Refund timelines may vary depending on the payment method, bank policies, and airline response time.
Refunds will be issued to the original mode of payment (e.g., credit card, debit card). In the case of partially used tickets, any discounts (including promotional codes) applied at the time of booking may be deducted from the refund amount. Additionally, Zoozle’s service fee, which is distinct from the convenience fee, will also be deducted.
